Comics You Should Read: Batman and Robin

GIST: Batman dies and everyone is like well fuck.  Then Battle for the Cowl happens where all of Gotham seems to be fighting over the title of Batman.  Jason dons a really bad robot Bat-suit but in the end Dick Grayson reigns supreme.  Oh and it turns out that Bruce Wayne has a legit son, not an orphan he adopted, but a legit son with one Taila Al Ghul, Damian.  Who’s been raised by a super secret eltie society of assassins since he was a baby so needless to say the kid is a little….different. Good thing Dick is up for the challenge of taking this kid under his wing as the new Boy Wonder! 

Why You Should Read It: Dick and Damian have this really great dynamic that alone makes the title worth reading.  They play off each other really well and you really get a sense that they make each other better. They’re a great partnership that’s a joy to read. Plus Steph makes a few appearances and her interactions with Damian and Dick are a real gem.  There’s lots of Batfam feels to be had in this title so it’s a rec for anyone who enjoys the Batfam at their best.
